There is no doubt about its beauty: a marble floor is always a guarantee of excellence thanks to its aesthetics, durability and value.
The choice to use marble agglomerate also for large surfaces is an actual statement of style. In particular – to provide an example that was later successfully built – the idea to lay a marble floor in a shopping mall such as Canberra Centre ended up being a success story on all fronts. When the Universal Design firm of London was chosen to re-design the floors of the Canberra Centre in Australia in 2016, the choice of architects and interior designers immediately gravitated towards the quality and elegance of a product entirely made in Italy; Santamargherita marble floors were the top choice for this restyling project.
In particular, the SM Marble Arabescato Bianco, Grigio Carnico, Nero Portoro and Fior di Pesco products were chosen: the winning solutions in implementing this ambitious project with the specific aim of giving a new aesthetic appeal to the flooring of the imposing Canberra Centre. More than 3000 square metres of marble floor in the colors offered by Santamargherita replaced the previous natural marble floor, resulting in undeniable advantages in terms of maintenance and practicality, in addition to the absolutely unrivalled aesthetic appeal.
The products used to lay the marble floor of the Canberra Centre were chosen so as to recreate magnificent geometrical patterns during the installation stage. An infinite play of inlays and geometrical patterns created with the finest and most beautiful materials provide Canberra Centre not only with a new appearance having a strong aesthetic impact, but they give the general setting an added value that can be measured in terms of quality and elegance directly connected to the use of marble agglomerate.
A facility used by thousands of visitors every day, ranking as one of the city’s attractions and certainly top of the list for shopping, needs to be able to project an image of beauty and comfortable luxury. A new concept of hospitality designed specifically for the visitor, who enters the shopping center not only to do some shopping and browse their favorite brands, but also and especially to enjoy the beauty of a location that has been entirely revamped to better welcome the visitor. Walking on a marble floor while strolling around a shopping center offers the pleasant feeling of being in direct contact with affordable luxury, where although you are not at home, you can discover first-hand and fill your eyes with the beauty of fine finishes. The Canberra Centre is much more than just a shopping center: it is a place designed based on the harmony of proportions and the fine quality of the materials used for its imposing structure.
